Casio’s groundbreaking Natural Grand Hammer Action keyboard is made with full-length Austrian spruce concert grand piano keys, using the same materials and construction as C. Bechstein concert grands. A key press actuates the hammer along the same vertical path as a grand piano, with the same weighting and pivot points, resulting in true, uncompromising piano touch.

The GP-310 enhances the sound of these impeccable instruments with brilliant chord resonance and longer, more natural decay than previous-generation Celvianos, ensuring that each sustained note tells its own complete story. The GP-310 also gives you enhanced sensitivity and expression for pianissimo sounds, especially when at pianississimo and softer.
Natural Grand Hammer Action keyboard and Grand Pedal system provide authentic piano feel
The Casio GP-310 Celviano Grand Hybrid’s ultra-realistic Natural Grand Hammer Action keyboard is spot-on. The vertical path, weighting, and pivot points of its full-length wooden concert grand piano keys are virtually identical to that of a real concert grand, and the keys use the same materials and processes as a C. Bechstein concert grand piano. Casio’s Grand Pedal system continuously senses and detects the position of the damper pedal, fine-tuning the volume and note length depending on how much you depress the pedal. For performances that use the soft pedal, changes in volume and sound characteristics are extremely natural, enabling you to deploy a wide range of expression when playing softly. The Casio GP-310 Grand Hybrid is equipped with a specially designed 6-speaker amplification system that re-creates the 3-dimensional sound field created by a real acoustic grand piano. The top speakers replicate the sounds you’d normally hear rising upwards, and the downward-facing speakers mimic the sounds you’d normally hear from below the soundboard. Whether you’re performing or listening, the GP-310 sounds full, rich, and natural; while new EQ options give you the flexibility you need for recording and larger-scale performances.
