    Description

Total of 68 bass & treble damper blocks. New.  Excellent for replacing old, broken or missing damper blocks or (especially) blocks where the screws have rusted in place making adjustment difficult.
32 bass blocks, bored diagonally low left to high right. Photo #2. 5/8" tall, 7/16" deep, 1/4" wide. Blue paper clip is there to show the angle through the block. Blocks are bored at an angle to reduce the amount the damper wire must be bent (if using new damper lever wires) to match the angle of the bass strings.
15 treble damper blocks, bored diagonally high left to low right. Photo #3. 5/8" tall, 11/16" deep, 5/16" wide. Blue paper clip is there to show the angle through the block. These are typically used in the low tenor/treble section where string angle is the most pronounced and thus reduces the amount the damper lever wire must be bent
(if using new damper lever wires)
    to match the strings.
21 treble damper blocks, bored vertically from bottom to top. Photo #4. 5/8" tall, 11/16" deep, just over 5/16" wide. Blue paper clip is there to show the angle through the block. These are typically used in the higher treble section where string angle is near vertical and bending of damper head wires is at a minimum.
