Full Stencil Set for Mason & Hamlin Style 110 Pump/Reed Organ Gold Case Artwork

Description

Stencil set for replicating the gold artwork on the sides and front of a Mason & Hamlin model 110 (and similar).  Copied from original work.  Made from a low-tack (easily removed) vinyl.  Place in position desired (can use the soapy water/GENTLE squeegee /blot method if desired), mask off all other areas, spray gold (compatible with existing finish!!) over the stencils, let dry and then peel off.  Design will be slightly raised - you can then apply 4-5 clear topcoats, sand CAREFULLY and then 1-2 more topcoats and you'll have gold artwork that is part of the finish and smooth.  I strongly recommend spray lacquer for all finishing work, but you can use whatever you are comfortable with as long as the gold (we use bronzing powder suspended in lacquer) you use is compatible with whatever stain/clearcoat you use.
Please note:  this is a stencil set and requires painting over the stencil to get the desired design.  It is not a dry transfer or solvent type decal.

Please also note:  listing does not include the organ, any parts or panels of the organ.  They are pictured to show you the results of using these stencils (correctly).  You will receive one set of stencils that is enough to do 2 sides and a front panel and rear panel on the organ.  We do not include any materials for the gold "pinstriping" found on some organs as that is easily done with masking tape correctly spaced.
