JAPAN Tin Friction Chevrolet Ambulance - Extendable Stretcher Operated By Crank

Nice example of a made in Japan tin friction Chevrolet Ambulance that has an extendable stretcher bed operated by a crank on the side.  Includes 2 metal stretchers.  Looks like a restoration/repaint  has been done.  Wheels turn and friction mechanism works but is weak.  Operating stretcher works fine.  No maker's mark that I can see other than the word Japan stamped on underside.  Could only find one other example on internet search under vintage EMS toys, but it was a different model that had same operating stretcher and white paint.   Measures 9" long.  Unique piece.  Any history on it would be appreciated.
