    Description

    Here is a great Louis Marx & Company lithographed floor toy.  It is a friction powered #44 Super Chief engine and tender (done as one piece).  Beautifully lithgraphed in red, white, silver, and black.  This one needs a few things: the rear wheelset (which were free rolling wheels on a metal axle) is missing, and one of the front driver wheels is chipped (see the last photo).  The friction mechanism DOES work.  Perhaps someone can use this for parts to complete another one, or add the parts to this one.  Photos from all 6 sides, with a penny in the shots for size reference.  Is about 8 1/3 inches in length.  Priced to sell, with only actual First Class Package shipping charged to the winner!
