NR 1968 Ford Torino GT Fastback Friction & Batt Op Eng Sound 16" (41cm) TN Japan

NO Reserve for this very large and unusual tin 1968 Ford Torino GT fastback. Measures 16" (41cm). This looks like this was for the Japanese market with the right hand steering wheel. What makes this so unusual is this is friction drive plus a battery op switch on the passenger side seat. You move the switch in the first position and you get the rumble of the engine idle. Go to the next position and the idle increases in sound! All this works perfectly! I have never seen this before. All you want to do is play this back and forth going from low rumpty idle to fast idle.... what a trip!
This has been painted a light yellow buttercream with the original yellow and red interior. All the litho colors are bright and crisp with no rust. The front fenders have metal replacement side mirrors that match the originals.
The original front window plastic tint
has no scratches or warping. The rear plastic has been replaced. All the nickel trim is straight and rust free with some tarnish on the window frames. All 4 tires are excellent with hubcaps that have the whitewall. Base plate has been painted and has plastic battery box. Friction works nice and smooth with siren sound.
