Piano Fretwork Panel. Ornate Chic Deco-Depression Wood easy prep to display

Description

Piano Fretwork Panel with classic cut-out design. Panel is 15 5/16 inches tall x 20 13/16 inches wide, and 1/ 4 inch thick. Deco-Depression early 20th century ply-wood. Unknown type of wood due to heavy dark finish. It was inset into a surrounding framework. There are small 3/16 inch drilled screw holes around the edge of the panel screws held it in place- not glued in and ripped out to salvage.  There are 3 holes along the narrow sides and 2 more along the long sides (total of 10 holes). On the back side of the panel, the screw holes are counter-sunk with a width of about 3/8 inches.  There are a number of other smaller tack holes closer to the edges of the panel, most of which do not penetrate through to the front surface of the panel. Minor wear/ scuffs and few chip-outs near tack spots on back side from placement in frame and minor scuffs/ wear, but visible,  on the front side.  See photos to examine item condition.  Note: Last 2 photos show a wear or blemish corner on one of the panels. Triangular shape about 2 inches long on the sides.
