    Description

    1 1/2" wide, 52" long, approx .145 thick.  Used on balance rail in almost all pianos - grands, baby grands, spinets, consoles, studios and uprights. Dark green, excellent quality.
    I recommend gluing only under the front edge of the felt - this allows you to place shims as needed under the back edge to effectively "raise" the felt. If the felt is too thin you run the risk of the key height being excessive - too thick and they will be too low; however, felt on the thin side is easy to correct by using card stock shims under the back edge (if you only glued the front edge).
