    Description

    1 piano caster/wheel mounting socket. Fits casters with a groove cut around the shaft - NOT casters with a grip ring stem (see pic).  These sockets are typically found on US made pianos including front and rear on many pre-1930 uprights*, most studios, rear casters on spinets and consoles, and some grand/baby grand pianos.. (some grand pianos have square sockets). 2 1/8" diameter.  Stem mounts in approx 5/8" hole. Bushing included in the event the existing hole is too large.  It's very important for the stem to fit tightly in the leg to prevent damage to the socket once weight is put on it. Screws also included.
    *some pre-1930's uprights use a caster and socket that are not detachable - those casters are available in my ebay store, item #291653113907
