    Description

    For replacement of damaged, broken or missing hammer butt springs in most full size upright pianos. (If you're repairing a spinet or console with a compact action and shorter springs, just clip the excess length and gently put a bend in the end like original).  When measuring your old springs take note if the curve in them has "straightened" over the years - the spring in the photo is new and has a fairly pronounced curve (which can be tweaked as needed to change
    strength).  These are "long" length springs, about 2", made from 0.025"
    diameter
    wire.
