    Description

    For replacement of damaged, broken or missing damper springs in most full size upright pianos. (If you're repairing a spinet or console with a compact action and shorter springs, just clip the excess length and gently put a bend in the end like original).  When measuring your old springs take note if the curve in them has "straightened" over the years - the spring in the photo is new and has a fairly pronounced curve (which can be tweaked as needed to change
    strength).  These are "heavy" strength springs, about 0.033" diameter wire.
    Auction is for 70 springs (dampers are not on all 88 notes, usually on the first 65 to 68 notes). If you just need a dozen or so, check my eBay store, item #
