    Description

    Solid hardwood maple short lid prop for grand and baby grand pianos.  This is a genuine Baldwin part but can certainly be used on other pianos where the dimensions allow.  9.5" long, base is about 5/8" square and end is round - about 5/8" in diameter. 1/8" mounting hole is about 9/16" from the end of the prop.
    Install so that the prop is perpendicular (approximately a 90 degree angle) to the top lid.  Usual mounting location is the base of the factory lid support/prop provided there is sufficient space to mount it.
    Addition of a mounting cup is often beneficial. I have them in my eBay store, search for "lid prop cup"
