    Description

    Vintage Darnell U-50 Double caster wheels. Wheels may be wood (see photos). If they are then then are a hard wood. Hub stem area appears to be cast iron.
    From research it looks like these are common on grand pianos. Hub and wheels seem to spin and roll smoothly. Some grooves on one wheel can be seen in the pictures. Otherwise the wheels are in solid condition with signs of age and use.
