VINTAGE FORD DUMP TRUCK FRICTION TIN TOY WITH OPERATING DUMP, JAPAN

Description

Nice Tin Toy Dump Truck with friction drive on the front wheels and operating dump.  The body appears to be a Ford and research indicates it was advertised and sold as a Ford dump truck.  The dump body operates by pushing the push stalk on the side of the truck which releases the catch holding the dump body in the down position.  The box lifts via a controlled spring motion and makes a sound mimicking an actual dump truck body raising.  The truck is about 11" long.  From my research it appears to be made in Japan and is likely to be a Cragstan.  I have had this truck since new, so I've had it a very long time, over 50 years.  It is in excellent original condition.  The friction drive works fine, and dump body works fine.  The tires show no cracks or deformations.  The windshield is in great condition. The chrome bits have a nice patina. The paint is very good condition.  No dents.  Please review the photos for your own evaluation of condition.
