We manually test every PCB - chipped transistors, discolouration doesn't affect functionality. If it doesn't work for you, it's because firmware must be transferred, you bought a wrong board or there is another / additional issue with your hard drive. Due to large stock quantity you may receive a slightly different PCB than on the picture, however all specs are going to be the same as listed.
Fujitsu hard drives and Seagate hard drives with dot "." in firmware generally do not require firmware transfer. Firmware version on your hard drive label or our "PCB Specification" list is NOT firmware version of the PCB; matching it doesn't mean you will not need firmware transfer.
