Yonezawa Japan Champion Indianapolis Style #98 Tin Friction Racer.
Original 2nd edition of the 1952 Indianapolis 500 winner Troy Ruttman. The 1st version manufactured by Yonezawa landed them into copy right infringements with the owner of Troy Ruttman's winning car. This one came out in the Fall without the owners name on it or the drivers name escaping legal issues. It has raced used tire as you can see with the others just showing small flat spots. The friction turns with the back wheels but does disengages at times. This one still has the original small plastic windshield rarely seen intact. Solid at nearly 19" long showing 70 years of wear.
